ACES: Information for Hosts
The ACES series is organized by a committee consisting of each club president (or their delegate). Issues for discussion and resolution are to be brought forward by the respective club president. Each president shall possess one vote with the series coordinator voting in the case of ties.
Each club will host a series event including staffing, use of common series format and running CTP contest.
Each club will provide 4 prize packages for their event with a minimum value of $25 per package (total $100); Clubs are encouraged to incorporate sponsorship into the prize packages - total prize cost to club should not exceed $100.
Entry Fees - The $10 entry fee is generally broken down in this manner:
- $5 goes to grand prize
- $5 goes to club and is held until financial equalization at the end of the season.
Each club will contribute equally to the purchase of series discs. Any remaining series discs will first go towards prize packages for series overall awards. Any remaining series discs after the awards will be incorporated into the financial equalization described below.
Each club will contribute equally to the cost of series trophies.
The series is run on the principle that no club should loose money running an event and that we will share equally in the series proceeds. At the end of the four events and exclusive of any series grand prize winnings - an analysis will be made so each club is on equal financial footing. This analysis will include $ generated at their event (not including grand prize contribution), cost of prize packages (not to exceed $100), cost of series discs, cost of trophies and any remaining series plastic.
Discithaca.com will continue to be the host for series information and each club is encouraged to incorporate a link on their website rather than duplicate info.
